U.S. pre-positioned aid for the people of Venezuela landing in Curacao today

Critically-needed health kits, containing medicine and medical supplies, are being sent by the United States from the Netherlands to Curacao for Venezuela.

Mark Green, the administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), announced that the United States is pre-positioning additional aid in the region for the people of Venezuela.  Green noted that critically-needed health kits, containing medicine and medical supplies, are being sent by the United States from the Netherlands to Curacao today.  The relief supplies were purchased by USAID from the Dutch company Medical Export Group (MEG).
