About Appointments

All U.S. citizen services, except the Mail-In Passport Service, require you to appear and pay for your service in person. You will need to schedule an appointment via the appointment website. When on the appointment site check the top option for any passport services you require. You will find a link to the appointment website on every instructions page. Consular staff cannot set up appointments for you. Should you need two types of service, e.g. a passport and a notary service, kindly make both a passport and a notary appointment, in spite of what it says on the appointment site. Thank you.

Do not forget to print or save the appointment confirmation page. You will not receive a confirmation e-mail and our staff cannot retrieve this page for you. If you have not printed the confirmation page, or saved it on your phone, you can still come for your appointment as your name will be on our entry list for that day. Should you not have your password but need to cancel your appointment you can send an e-mail to: AmsterdamUSC@state.gov
