United States Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo will deliver the March 18 keynote address at the State Department’s Road to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) Heartland event. The conference will be at the Sheraton Overland Park Hotel in Overland Park, Kansas.

Road to GES Heartland will bring together hundreds of entrepreneurs, investors, and public and private sector leaders from across the Heartland who are building innovative solutions in agriculture, health, and connectivity. The event will take place March 18-19, and seeks to encourage deals that advance economic growth and prosperity in the United States and the world.

Road to GES Heartland participants will network with each other, take part in a pitch showcase, and join dozens of cutting edge discussions led by outstanding experts such as Ross Devol of the Walton Foundation, Kerri Thurston of C2FO, and Lesa Mitchell of Techstars Kansas City, among many other entrepreneurial thought leaders.

At Road to GES Heartland, Secretary Pompeo will also preview his participation in the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in The Hague, the Netherlands this June. The United States is co-hosting GES 2019 with the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
