Regional Federal Benefits Office in Dublin will visit Amsterdam to offer Social Security Number services

The U.S. Consulate General in Amsterdam is pleased to announce that representatives from the Regional Federal Benefits Office in Dublin will visit Amsterdam to offer Social Security Number services for those seeking to apply for a Social Security Number and/or Replacement Card.

Where:  U.S. Consulate General Amsterdam, Museumplein 19, Amsterdam
When:  February 1, 2024, 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

By Appointment Only.  Appointments will be granted in the order requests are received.  Priority will be given to applicants seeking Social Security Numbers who are over age 12 who require an In-Person Interview.  There will be no walk-in service.

To request an appointment:  Make sure you have all your questions answered by the Federal Benefits Unit – U.S. Mission Ireland.  Then send an e-mail to:  ACSAmsterdam@state.gov with the following subject line:

X55 SSN Appointment [first name(s) LAST NAME of applicant]

What to bring:

Social Security Number Card Application:  Please visit https://ie.usembassy.gov/social-security-number/ to obtain all information necessary to apply for a Social Security Number/Replacement Card.  You must bring all originals and one copy of each of the required documents to support your application, such as a valid U.S. Passport/Dutch Passport, Birth Certificate/Consular Report of Birth Abroad, Marriage Certificate (if applicable) and a completed form SS-5-FS.
