Dutch authorities will conduct a large-scale terrorist attack simulation exercise in Amsterdam November 8 and 9 that will involve police, emergency services, and Ministry of Defense personnel.
The exercise will take place at various locations in Amsterdam, including the restaurant Haddock (Amsterdam South), Zeeburg Island, Europaplein Metro Station (currently not in use), Amsterdam City Hall (Amstel 1), and the Amsterdam Police headquarters (Elandsgracht 117). The training will include role-players, training ammunition, audible training aids, and a larger than normal police presence. If you find yourself in any of these areas during the exercise, it will be visibly evident it is an exercise.
