GES Kick-Off Coffee

THE HAGUE, the Netherlands, December 17, 2018 –  Ambassador Hoekstra joined MFA Director General for Foreign Economic Relations Hanneke Schuiling for a kick-off coffee to mark the global launch of the 2019 GES online application portal for entrepreneurs in Amsterdam.  The event was held at Café Dauphine, which is located in the same building as the business radio station BNR.  More than 130 GES planners, entrepreneurs, startup thought-leaders, and government officials turned out to ask questions, hear about plans for the GES, and to network.  Mireille van Ark, editor in chief of BNR moderated a question and answer session with the Ambassador and Schuiling.

Starting today, entrepreneurs can apply to participate in the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2019.  This year, the GES is being organized by the governments of the United States and the Netherlands, and will be held at the World Forum in The Hague on June 4 and 5, 2019.
