Imam Mohamad Bashar Arafat visits the Netherlands

Last week, Imam Mohamad Bashar Arafat of the Civilizations Exchange and Cooperation Foundation (CECF) of Baltimore, Maryland, visited the Netherlands.

In Rotterdam, The Hague, and Amsterdam, he provided insights into successful interfaith and cross-cultural exchanges to Dutch educational, community and religious leaders, as well as students, based on his religious expertise, CECF’s groundbreaking work with youth, and his 10-plus years of travel all over the world to spread his message of the universality of core values from Islam as well as in the United States.

Ambassador Hoekstra joined Imam Arafat for a visit to the Blue Mosque in Amsterdam Nieuw-West, where they were met with great hospitality to discuss a range of topics with the mosque’s Imams and other members.
