Event: A demonstration is expected to take place on Friday, April 20, beginning at 3:00 p.m. and ending at 6:00 p.m.  The group “Freedom for Mumia” will assemble at the Museumplein in the vicinity of the U.S. Consulate General.

Police will be present to maintain order.  Bear in mind that even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and escalate into violence.

Actions to Take:

• Avoid the area of the demonstration.
• Exercise caution if in the vicinity of large gatherings or protests.
• Monitor local media for updates.
• Keep a low profile.
