U.S. Export Control Regulations Seminar
Amsterdam, the Netherlands
September 30 – October 3, 2019
The American Embassy is pleased to once again support the Export Compliance Training Institute’s annual seminar on September 30 – October 3, 2019 at the Hilton Amsterdam Hotel on U.S. Export Control Regulations and the impact they have on your company. The seminar series provides both novice and experienced export compliance professionals with an in-depth education on export control regulations administered by the U.S. Departments of State, Commerce, and Treasury as they apply to NL, EU and other non-U.S.-based companies, who use or resell U.S.-origin products, components, or technology as well as NON-U.S.-LOCATED affiliates, parents, and subsidiaries of U.S. companies.
U.S. Export Control Reform changes can be a real benefit to your company’s business once you understand how to adapt and maximize the benefit of list shifts from USML to CCL and how to apply the new definition of “Specially Designed” in the EAR. Our instructors are widely respected experts in the field of export control compliance with over 30 years of experience in interpreting and applying the rules of the EAR, OFAC, and the ITAR. Expect to leave these seminars with an in-depth understanding of what the current rules are and what you need to do to keep your company compliant.
U.S. export control regulations such as the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and OFAC Controls and Embargoes will be covered in detail on the following days:
September 30 – October 1, 2019: ITAR Controls on Non-US Transactions
October 2 – 3, 2019: EAR/OFAC Controls on Non-US Transactions
