During a diplomatic training program, Ambassador Hoekstra spoke to the youth chapter of ChristenUnie, PerspectieF, on international diplomacy, the tools used by the United States to promote foreign policy, and about his experience in business and politics.
Questions from the students followed and it was a productive discussion with people who are on track to be the future of their political party ChristenUnie. This was the first time that PerspectieF, one of the larger youth parties in the Netherlands, organized such a training.
