Ambassador Pete Hoekstra, will host a town hall meeting for U.S. citizens resident in the Netherlands. The town hall is a chance for U.S. citizens to meet the Ambassador and other members of the U.S. Mission. During the town hall, subject-matter experts will be available to answer questions on topics such as passport renewal, personal security, and absentee voting.
The town hall will take place on the afternoon of March 21. Due to space limitations, only the first 150 U.S. citizens who express their interest in attending the event, and then RSVP will receive a slot. Citizens must be 18 or older and possess a valid U.S. passport.
If you are interested in attending, please click this link and fill out your details by Monday, February 25, 2019.
Those who express and interest will receive a separate email with additional details. Due to security measures, those wishing to participate must first RSVP and then send a copy of their passport photo-page. The first 150 respondents will receive confirmation of their attendance, and others will be wait-listed.
For those unable to attend a published transcript and/or recording of Ambassador Hoekstra’s comments will be made available. In addition, the Consular Section plans to hold other regional town halls in the future.
